1. What is your organization’s mission?

What began as an online show for young people has become a place for information, comedy and community. Our intention is to be a safe-place where those who make up our community can be heard and offered a response. Smart Girls is where young women (and men!) are able to express their concerns. Through our “CALL TO ACTION” campaigns we encourage members to volunteer and be more curious about the world in which they live. We emphasize intelligence and imagination over fitting in. We celebrate curiosity over gossip. We are a place where people can be their weird and wonderful selves.

2. What makes you guys different from the rest?

We are in the field working with girls and women directly; in addition, the engagement we have with our community online and offline is interactive on top of being positive.
