Lore is something like Facebook for education—a digital social network that connects between students, professors and classmates. But whereas Facebook strives on status updates and photos, Lore's bread and butter is educational-related information.
With Lore, students are able to access courses, post questions or links, view a calendar of assignments, track their grades and directly interact with their instructors and fellow classmates. Professors also reap the benefits of the platform, which enables them to manage all their classes in one place. Instructors can directly post to all students, encouraging dialogue and a spirit of collaboration.
The user-friendly site requires only a university email to sign up, and is used by over 600 colleges and universities, including Harvard, Stanford and Yale. [Source: Lore]
