Stop and think for a moment about everything your body is capable of – it’s pretty incredible. The fine-tuned unit has many disparate elements that work in tandem with one another, allowing you to function in your everyday life. Physically, human beings are continuously stretching the limits of what their bodies can do, whether it be through sport, dance or even overcoming illnesses. Celebrate the human body by watching these five videos that will make you marvel at how lucky we are to be housed in this wonderfully formed vessel.

1. SKYSCRAPER WALTZING

Amelia Rudolph and Roel Seeber are the dancing daredevils who performed on top of California’s Oakland City Hall for the Art + Soul festival. Their style of dance is known as BANDALOOP and combines graceful choreography, physical feats and climbing.

2. THE BREAKDANCING PRODIGY

This little girl will blow your mind with her incredible moves and punchy attitude! B-girl Terra, a 6-year-old breakdance prodigy from the UK, took second place at the Chelles Battle Pro competition in Paris. She wowed children and adults alike with her impressive dancing which shows a level of dedication, talent and skill - especially for someone so young.

3. STRENGTH AND TRUST

This video has an incredibly strong message about trusting others and being vulnerable. Pay attention to the real life couple, Cirque Du Soleil dancers Alya Titarenko and Gael Ouisse, whose physical prowess and agility is simply breathtaking.

4. SLOW MOTION BALLET

This highly technical form of dance requires strict discipline and pushing the limits of what the human body is capable of. Dancers Marina Kanno and Giacomo Bevilaqua from Staatsballett Berlin perform several complicated jumps captured in slow motion at 1000 frames per second, showing just what it takes to be a master ballet dancer.

5. THE 93-YEAR OLD YOGA TEACHER

At 93 years old, Tao Porchon-Lynch was listed as the Guinness World Records' oldest yoga teacher. A news station caught wind of the now 96-year-old yogi and featured her teaching a class, performing incredible yoga positions and interviews with some of her students who sing her praises. Towards the end of the video, Porchon-Lynch reveals her secret to staying so young and fit which of course includes yoga, as well as competitive ballroom dancing with a partner 69 years her junior.
