Italy, USA and Uganda, what do all these countries have in common? They will be celebrating Good Deeds Day on March 10, 2013 with some awesome projects! Now in its third year, Good Deeds Day is an international celebration of good deeds with a simple premise- every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world. Get started yourself by making a good doing pledge, and join a whole community of global good doers!

ITALY
WHAT Visit the children’s wing of local hospitals in 5 different cities.
ACTIVITY Volunteers will spend quality time playing with kids at the hospital. As a special treat, they will distribute something sweet.   

WASHINGTON D.C.
WHAT Break the world record for the most sandwiches donated.
ACTIVITY Over 3,000 volunteers will make delicious sandwiches and distribute them to local organizations.

UGANDA
WHAT Plant trees and spread awareness about ecological preservation.
ACTIVITY Volunteers will plant avocado and jackfruit trees throughout the town. Later that evening, there will be a football game that will also serve as a platform to discuss the importance of preserving trees.
