How often do you talk about your own good deeds? Do you speak with your friends about causes you care about?  Perhaps you will now with the recently launched app Goodpin,  a new social platform for collaborative giving.
Founded on the belief that small acts can make a large difference, the growing Goodpin network wants to inspire you to support the causes closest to your heart with micro-donations, starting at one dollar. The idea is to publicize your contribution so that your friends can join in on the goodness, either by adding to your amount and spreading the word or making a separate donation.
Available for free at the App Store, Goodpin joins a host of other apps that are set on creating a ripple effect of difference - a couple of  Goodnet favorites include the ButterflyEffect that aims to increase gratitude and Shout, which harnesses small everyday expenditures into real money for nonprofits and worthy causes.
Goodpin is looking to be the place where positive moments are shared between good doers, inspiring one another to give even more of themselves.
