NYC Good Deeds Day

It's not every day that a cool bus full of good doers takes over the streets of New York City. But that's exactly what happened on March 5 in preparation for Good Deeds Day!
Good Deeds Day is an annual celebration of good doing taking place all over the world on March 9. The kickoff event four days before is a taste of what's to come on the big day.
Shari Arison got things started by unveiling the bus at the ABC Studio in Times Square at 10:30 a.m. After that, the bus made its way to various locations across the city, with the passengers - good doing volunteers - getting involved in some awesome projects.
So what was in store for the good doing travelers? The jam-packed day full of activities started off with a literacy event, followed by the chance to create a good deeds themed mural as well as designing pillowcases for children living with cancer. In the afternoon, the bus traveled to the Children's Aid Society to take part in art projects, after which participants delivered flowers to show domestic violence survivors they're not alone. There was also the opportunity to share a #HealthySelfie to promote healthy relationships.
