When you hear a telephone ringing how does it make you feel? What about thunder, a beating heart or a baby crying? The folks at Amplifon, the UK-based hearing specialist company, have created a stunning platform to explore the connection of sounds to feelings. Music is known to trigger physical and emotional responses; and using that similar notion begins Amplifon’s beautiful interactive journey of eight different sounds accompanied by five different emotions for each. After selecting an emotion, the user can see the percentage of people who feel the same way when they hear that exact sound. The sensory exploration is quite fascinating and the results just might surprise you!
