A son forever changes his parents’ lives with one tiny envelope.
The Christmas of 2014 will stand out to the Riquelme family as one of their best to date. That is because Joseph Riquelme gave his parents the surprise of a lifetime when he oh-so-casually changed their lives.
While sitting on the couch, Joseph tells his parents that he has an extra gift for them and hands his mother an envelope. His mother appears a bit nonplussed, but after she opens the envelope, that is when the enormity of the gift sets in.
A check was inside with a note from Joseph that read, 'Your house is paid off. Merry Christmas. Joe.'
His parents’ tears of joy and appreciation for this generous act made for an unforgettable family moment, and a beautiful beginning to the New Year.
