Caroline’s Cart is a shopping cart created for special needs children. It provides parents and caregivers a viable option to transport a child through a store while grocery shopping, without having the impossible task of having to maneuver a wheelchair and a traditional grocery cart at the same time. It is named after Caroline, the special needs daughter of Drew Ann and David Long.

Code Club

Code Club is a not-for-profit that believes all children should have the opportunity to learn to code, no matter who they are or where they come from. To do this, Code Club supports a network of volunteer-led, after-school coding clubs, which aim to inspire children aged 9-11 to build and share their ideas, learning along the way. Code Club currently has over 1000 clubs in over 75 countries, and our club projects have been translated in 15 languages.

EQWIP HUBs

EQWIP HUBs is a new way of approaching long-term sustainable development. It’s a network of 17 youth innovation spaces called ‘EQWIP HUBs,’ where youth – especially women – come together to develop market-relevant skills, build networks, learn from mentors, and access technology. Located in Bolivia, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, Senegal and Tanzania, they are places where the passions and determination of young people are transformed into the confidence and abilities that will allow them to access employment or entrepreneurship and take control of their own futures.

Barbershop Books

Barbershop Books is a community-based literacy program that creates child-friendly reading spaces in barbershops for boys ages 4-8. It leverages the cultural significance of barbershops in Black communities to help black boys identify as readers. This innovative approach connects black men and families to black boys’ early reading experiences. It also improves boys’ access to culturally relevant, age appropriate, and gender responsive children’s books, while increasing the amount of time boys read for fun.
