84% of the Kenyan population doesn’t have access to grid electricity. That’s 32 million people.
Driven by a belief that off-grid renewable energy is the only solution for this pressing problem, Access:Energy now install energy systems fueled by solar and wind energy, in village-scale. Access:Energy teaches locals to build up the Night-Heron Wind Turbine, so that skills and jobs are provided to locals, creating knowledge and independence.
What an empowering project.
