While can’t always fully prevent natural disasters from occurring, we can do our best to make sure civilians are better prepared and have access to protection devices that could save tens of thousands of lives. After hearing about the Indonesian Tsunami in 2004, Julian Sharpe, Scott Hill, and Dr. Eddie Bernard decided that they wanted everyone to have a way to better ensure residents’ safety.

What came out of their desire to avoid another calamity? A spherical device and personal safety system that helps protect against natural disasters such as hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes, earthquakes, and storms.

The Survival Capsule can withstand rising water levels, store water and other necessities, and even includes a powder seat toilet. The passion to empower individuals and families to protect themselves during extreme conditions enabled them to create an incredible capsule that’s strong enough to stand up to heat exposure, sharp and blunt object impact, and deceleration.

The capsules, which come in sizes from a two-person protection device to a ten-person space are havens for family homes, hospitals, airports, schools, and more. When tragedy strikes, the capsule provides the basic needs all humans require to thrive: safety, warmth, shelter, and security, and a surge of hope post-disaster.
