It only takes one moment to make a difference

Chicago-based indie-rock band OK Go has long been known for their stunningly creative music videos. Starting with the 2009 clip in which they danced on treadmills to their most recent video in which they perform an elaborate routine in zero gravity - the band has no shortage of creative ideas.

For their latest project, OK Go teamed up with Morton Salt to promote the brand’s “Walk Her Walk” platform, conveying the company’s aim to make a positive impact. The beautiful clip for OK Go’s song The One Moment, filled with colorful explosions and acrobatic feats, shows only 4.2 seconds of actual footage, but is played back in ultra-slow motion, creating a breathtaking work of art.

The video starts with the footage shot for the clip shown in real-time, before reversing and slowing down the events to match the music of the song. The idea was to show that it only takes a moment to make a difference and have an impact. "We want to show that a single moment can contain so much wonder, so much beauty, and so much change," OK Go vocalist Damian Kulash told Adweek. "We hope it helps inspire people to use their moments wisely."

After all the color has been spread and the band's members are all properly drenched, the clip reveals the Morton Salt Girl, who was the inspiration between the #WalkHerWalk campaign. To begin its new journey, Morton Salt joined forces with five inspiring difference-makers whose stories are featured on the campaign page. In the end, Morton hopes that its campaign will further inspire viewers to want to make a positive impact on the world.
