A Funky New App which Opens a Window into the Life of a Stranger [VIDEO] | 20 Day Stranger is an anonymous exchange of life experiences

In an effort to make our world a bit smaller and more connected, new app 20 Day Stranger is a social experiment of sorts. For 20 days, you and a stranger anonymously share one another’s worlds via photos and minimal text that opens a tiny window into the everyday life of someone else. The catch is that you will never know who it is, or exactly where they are; only at the end of the 20 days will you be able to communicate a single message. 20 Day Stranger is the brainchild of The Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values at MIT in partnership with MIT Media Lab Playful Systems, and is currently in iPhone beta testing mode. Those interested in 20 Day Stranger can sign up to participate and start their anonymously shared human experience right away.
