To Breast Cancer Survivors: Embrace the Scar! [VIDEO] | After all, it simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month – cue the clever, crafty ads, campaigns and billboards urging women to take preventative steps against the disease and encourage others to do the same. The ads typically range from the creative to the provocative and everywhere in between.

One especially touching video is sending a message to those who have already fought breast cancer...and won. The video, Thinking of... ( • )( • ),was released by Totuma in honor of World Day of the Fight Against Breast Cancer on October 19. It tells survivors never to be ashamed of their surgical scars – which signify strength and victory. The closing message is profoundly moving on its own, but it’s the creative use of all the ( • )-looking things  (and their strategic placement) that amplify the message of power, individuality, and self-confidence.

Be proud. Keep your chin up. And embrace the scar. Take a look!
