How many times has this thought crossed your mind -
“I’d love to do something that would be good for someone!
I wish I had known what to do and where to go…”
Does that ring a bell? Perhaps International Good Deeds Day, set for March 25, 2012, will be your outlet for the good-doing urge.International Good Deeds Day is dedicated to doing good worldwide – anyone can take part, do good and give of themselves to others. Good Deeds Day is the culmination of a six-week campaign, beginning February 13, during which people will be encouraged to do something good, be it large or small, for the benefit of others. Viewers are asked to share images, text and videos of their own good deeds – or that of someone they know – via a dedicated website. The two most creative and inspiring uploads will each win a VIP trip for two to an international MTV event.
In a deal between Be Viacom – a division of Viacom International Media Networks – and Arison Group, the world’s leading youth entertainment brand MTV will leverage its extensive broadcast and online network across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to join businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison in her initiative, International Good Deeds Day.
