A volunteering project on Good Deeds Day in Israel involving all generations. (Good Deeds Day)
It's not every day that an entire country rolls up their sleeves and dedicates a day to doing good. But that's exactly what's happening today, March 11, for Good Deeds Day in Israel.
1. Over half a million Israelis will be volunteering. Considering that the population of Israel is just under 8 million, that's quite a spectacular turnout.

7. When you add the volunteers and projects together it comes out to 2 million hours of volunteering on one single day in one country. Impressive to say the least.
