Thinking outside of the box involves creativity, innovation and risk taking but where does that fit into education? Design Thinking for Educators is a free toolkit created by the progressive global design firm IDEO and Riverdale Country School.
Tailored for K-12 education, the toolkit is designed to support educators by providing a framework to create new strategies and solutions in the classroom. Some design examples include restructuring the physical space of the classroom to meet the students' needs or designing a 21st century curriculum. Design Thinking for Educators gives a supportive boost to the education system, allowing teachers to provide a more dynamic learning experience for their students.
