You can build almost anything out of LEGO bricks; a windmill, an aircraft carrier, a castle, and now flower bouquets or bonsai trees. That’s because LEGO lets creativity bloom for children and adults.
The new botanical kits are designed for adults, according to Fast Company, and come with almost 900 pieces as well as detailed instructions on how to turn them into beautifully artistic floral arrangements that you can use to decorate your home. And these flower bouquets will never have to be watered or wilt.
With many people staying home due to social distancing or lockdowns, its sometimes difficult to find ways to destress. According to a press release from the LEGO Group, a company study showed that 73 percent of adults are actively looking for ways to destress and that 81 percent of adults said that playing helps them relax.
“As adults look for new ways to switch off and relax, we’re delighted to be able to help them seek solace from their busy everyday lives as they immerse themselves in creating these beautiful botanical builds,” Jamie Berard, Design Lead at the LEGO Group said in the press release. “The customizable elements and mindful building experience will hopefully help them express their personality as their creativity blossoms.”
What’s also great, is that the new botanical collections include many pieces that are made from plant-based plastics produced from sustainably sourced sugarcane. This is part of the company’s commitment to the environment including meeting its 100 percent renewable energy goals three years ahead of schedule.
LEGO Flower Bouquet Kit
This kit features an assortment of beautiful blooms, snap dragons, roses, poppies, asters and daisies that can be built from a large array of bright vibrant colored bricks and customized any way your heart desires. The stems are adjustable so that you can make arrangements that can fit any vase or decor. The flowers are designed to be up to 14 inches (36 cm) tall. You can also purchase individual flowers instead of buying the entire kit. Released on January 1, 2021, the flower blooms are so popular that the kit is temporarily sold out.

LEGO Bonsai Tree Kit
This set allows you an entry way into the century’s old art of bonsai trees. You can carefully build your own replica tree with this 878-piece kit in either green leaves or cherry blossoms. You can easily change your tree with the seasons. The kit comes with a pot, and a slotted wood-effect stand and if you look very closely, you can see little frogs in the blossoms.
