One month into the New Year, many resolutions are already a thing of the past – long abandoned in the foggy fun of holiday celebrations. But what were those goals we set for ourselves – how did they break down? A beautifully-designed online tool breaks down the data by analyzing New Year tweets, sorting resolutions into categories such as financial, health and learning. Each category can then be broken down specifically; for example, learning a musical instrument or donating to charity.
The Tweeting Resolutions data shows that health is of the highest priority in 2014, followed by breaking what we see as "bad" habits, and boosting education. Doing good for ourselves, these numbers indicate, is the natural first step to moving on to doing good for others and for the planet.
What was your resolution? And how have you progressed so far? Tell us in the comments below.
