Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The World Wildlife Fund (WWF)'s new iPad application "Together" features all three animals – and many more – and is one of the most beautiful apps on the iTunes store at the moment. The seamless digital experience offers users of all ages a window into the lives of the endangered animals that the WWF works to protect.
The interactive app unfolds – both literally and figuratively – to reveal editorial content, stunning videos and photos, and some unbelievable facts. For example, did you know that pandas eat up to 83 pound of bamboo every day? The design takes advantage of many of the iPad's unique features, such as using the inbuilt camera to simulate tiger vision and the location services, which allow users to spin the globe and see how far they are away from each animal.
And to top it all off, you can download origami folding instructions for each species. Fancy making your own paper polar bear? It's just a few taps and folds away.
