KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. There are currently 109 KIPP schools in 20 states and the District of Columbia serving more than 33,000 students.

Doing Good Works

Doing Good Works provides career and entrepreneurship training to foster youth through the sale of promotional products, print material and packaging.  The idea is that businesses can buy those products through Doing Good Works and receive the corporate social responsibility value that comes with buying from a Benefit Corporation supplier.

Barbershop Books

Barbershop Books is a community-based literacy program that creates child-friendly reading spaces in barbershops for boys ages 4-8. It leverages the cultural significance of barbershops in Black communities to help black boys identify as readers. This innovative approach connects black men and families to black boys’ early reading experiences. It also improves boys’ access to culturally relevant, age appropriate, and gender responsive children’s books, while increasing the amount of time boys read for fun.

Drive Change

We build and operate state-of-the-art, locally sourced, food trucks that hire and train formerly incarcerated youth.

SOS Children's Villages USA

We build families for orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children in 134 countries and territories, including the United States. We are the largest nongovernmental organization dedicated to the care of orphaned and abandoned children. Founded in 1949, we provide children with the love and long-term support they need to shape their own futures - a stable family, quality medical care and the opportunity to learn. Through our family support and care programs, medical centers, schools and emergency relief efforts we impact the lives of millions of children and families.

Zoobean

Zoobean helps families find books and apps they will love at home and at the library. 

PAAJAF Foundation

The PAAJAF Foundation (Providing Adolescents and Adults Job for Advancement in Future) is working on behalf of underprivileged children, youth and woman in rural Ghana to end poverty and illiteracy through education and job training. The foundation was established to provide a range of much-needed support services for children, young people and women who live in the village of Gbawe, near Accra.

Hall Pass Tour

The Hall Pass Tour is a series of high energy, after-school music concerts for grades K-12 designed to help kids from underserved schools and communities get excited about leveraging higher learning to achieve their dreams.

One Young World

One Young World  is a charity that gathers together the brightest young people (aged 18 - 30) from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change. At the annual One Young World Summit, young leaders debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the most pressing issues the world faces. At the 2013 Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, 1,250 young people from 190 countries were joined by a prestigious line-up of One Young World Counsellors including: Kofi Annan, Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Sir Bob Geldof and Professor Muhammad Yunus. After attending a Summit, delegates join the network of One Young World Ambassadors working the world over to effect positive change. They do this by founding their own initiatives or lending the power of the One Young World network to those already in existence. The next One Young World Summit takes place in Dublin, Ireland from 15-19 October 2014.

AFAR Foundation

Founded in 2008 as the philanthropic affiliate of AFAR Media, the AFAR Foundation provides experiential travel to youth through its flagship program, Learning AFAR. Born from the idea that travel is the best form of education, Learning AFAR grants international travel scholarships to students who would not otherwise be able to explore our world.
