A Food Forest is a gardening technique or land management system that mimics a woodland ecosystem but substitutes in edible trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.  Fruit and nut trees are the upper level, while below are berry shrubs, edible perennials and annuals.  Companions or beneficial plants are included to attract insects for natural pest management while some plants are soil amenders providing nitrogen and mulch.  Together they create relationships to form a forest garden ecosystem able to produce high yields of food with less maintenance.

We're striving to make ordering a 'coffee stories' coffee' as ubiquitous and quotidian as ordering a coffee for yourself; to leave the coffee shop kinder, more hospitable than we found it, and to listen attentively to what others think, feel, and are moved by.

We make fruit snacts from fruit surplus to act on food waste.
Tonnes of perfectly good fruit get thrown away in the UK before reaching shops. We turn that surplus into healthy snacts that contribute to one of your five a day. But a better food system is also about the people involved in it, so as we grow, we plan to employ people who’ve been affected by food poverty to help us make and sell our snacts.
