Oneness is more than a beautiful word - this phrase encompasses the mission of Global Oneness Day, a worldwide celebration of unity taking place on October 24. The event, a movement in and of itself, is dedicated to the belief that change will only successfully happen when people come together and understand that we are all interconnected. The goal is to introduce ways for people to bring in oneness into their lives and translate the concept to practicalities.
People can join in on Global Oneness Day, which is celebrated with activities around the world - from the Philippines to England through to the US.
The pinnacle of Global Oneness Day is the Global Oneness Summit - a series of lectures and panels held online, that will provide more in-depth analysis about oneness. Some of the most celebrated scholars and spiritual leaders in the field, from Yoko Ono to Archbishop Desmond Tutu, will be sharing their insights, thoughts and meditations on the power of oneness. Anyone can register for free to listen to the webcasts; and all are encouraged to learn more about oneness and how you can promote it in your daily lives. [Souce: Global Oneness Day]
