While Gucci is best known for its designer clothes, the Italian fashion house is also using its celebrity for good: joining other organizations dedictated to women empowerment, Gucci's Chime for Change puts women at the forefront.
Chime for Change aims to improve the plight of women and girls throughout the world, by raising awareness and money for education, health and justice. The website hosts projects powered by Catapult, a Kickstarter-style crowdfunding platform dedicated to funding women’s causes.  Alongside worthy projects, Chime for Change also features films and stories about issues that women face in communities around the world.
The campaign’s visibility is heightened by powerful celebrity supporters like Beyonce, actress Salma Hayek Pinault and Gucci creative director Frida Giannini - the faces of Chime for Change - each representing the three target areas for female betterment.
Through a mega- concert and some serious crowdfunding, Chime for Change has already funded 209 projects in 59 countries, and is well on its way to transforming the lives of girls and women everywhere.
