Fashion house Kenzo and the nonprofit Blue Marine Foundation have joined forces to create a special clothing line designed to draw attention to the world’s sea creatures. Dubbed No Fish No Nothing, the unisex sweaters and tee-shirts are the jumpstart of a long term commitment between the clothing company and nonprofit. Showcasing the new line on a gorgeous website, users are taken on a beautiful subaquatic journey from the perspective of a fish. Each click presents the viewer with the impressive designs of the collection, interspersed with startling statistics on the state of the world’s waterlife populations.
In the spirit of pop-up shops, Kenzo will launch its temporary digs in Paris from March 21 to 27 in the form of a digital space that will double as an aquarium. For each purchase from the No Fish No Nothing collection - a virtual fish will be born into the aquarium.
Melding fashion with purpose, the new collection aims to highlight the toll of overfishing and the need for marine reserves… with style.
