For the first time, Global Forest Watch unites satellite technology, open data, and crowdsourcing to guarantee access to timely and reliable information about forests. GFW is free and follows an open data approach in putting decision-relevant information in the hands of governments, companies, NGOs, and the public. Global Forest Watch was created by the World Resources Institute with over 40 partners.

The Greenhouse of the Future

Holistic Survival School (HSS) offers a different perspective on “survival” classes. With their “middle path” approach, HSS offers both personal and group classes which help connect the physical and spiritual worlds of survival.  HSS helps people reclaim their lost wildness by a process called ReWilding. At HSS, not only do students learn the physical skills needed to live in the wild, but they also gain a intimate relationship with the wilderness that will help them be more aware of themselves, their life, and the natural world.

Rising Tide Fair Trade

The fair trade artisans we work with earn roughly 60 percent more than they would for comparable factory jobs.
