The Saylor Academy is a nonprofit committed to advancing higher education opportunities by overcoming barriers of cost, time, and geography. Today, the Academy provides interested students with over 300 tuition-free, open online courses, including over 20 aligned to college credit.

The Peer 2 Peer University is a grassroots open education project that organizes learning outside of institutional walls and gives learners recognition for their achievements. Build Africa currently supports 100,000 people in rural Kenya and Uganda through both education and community enterprise programmes.
