Stockbox Grocers
http://stockboxgrocers.comStockbox’s mission is to bring food back into communities – like an old-fashioned corner store, but with a modern twist. Our small format stores are placed throughout urban areas, to offer fresh produce, meal solutions, and grocery staples. We place mainstream staples, alongside organic products, and source produce from local farms when possible. Grab-and-go options in meals and snacks make it easy to shop, with selection changing frequently so there’s always something new to explore. We offer loyalty programs, recipes, and specials. Pricing is affordable – competitive with local grocery stores and below convenience stores.

Our goal is to fund, construct and open another larger learning center next year that will be able to assist a larger amount of high school students. Helping Overcome Obstacles Peru (HOOP)
http://www.hoopperu.orgHelping Overcome Obstacles Peru (HOOP) is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation located in Arequipa, Peru. HOOP is not affiliated to any religious or political ideals. We work with the impoverished people in the Flora Tristan community. Flora Tristan is a shanty town located on the outskirts of Arequipa composed of haphazardly constructed shacks with a lack of basic services, such as electricity or running water.
Our current priorities are developing the Flora Tristan community by using strategic educational programs through which community members of all ages can advance their education, health, self-confidence and better their quality of life. To that end our international and Peruvian volunteers run English classes, homework help, health & nutrition workshops, medical assessments and treatments, as well as finance and business classes.

Make It Right
http://www.makeitrightnola.orgMore than 4,000 homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Two years later, when actor Brad Pitt toured the city, the neighborhood was still deserted and devastated. Pitt promised the families he met there, that he would help make it right. He founded Make It Right to build 150 affordable, green storm resistant homes for families living in the Lower 9th Ward when the storm hit.
