Asian University for Women

The Asian University for Women is the preeminent liberal arts university for women in South Asia. With an emphasis on social justice and empowerment, AUW provides higher education to those who would otherwise not have the access.  Its students are competitively selected for admittance and for scholarship.  AUW students are among the best in their classes and are willing and able to become change-makers in their lives after university.

AZIAM Girlz

The AZIAM Girlz brand is dedicated to teaching girlz to love who they are, as they are. Using the basics of Yoga to teach positive self- and social- awareness, we have designed dolls, clothing, accessories, bags, yoga products, jewelry, headwear, games, programs and books to make the Yoga experience more colorful for our Goddess in Progress.

Bridges to Prosperity

Bridges to Prosperity provides isolated communities with access to essential health care, education and economic opportunities by building footbridges over impassable rivers.

Care

CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.

Catapult

Catapult is a crowdfunding site working for gender justice and equality. Organizations that work to improve the lives of girls and women can post their projects on Catapult, and anyone in the world can donate to the project.

Chime for Change

Chime for Change, founded by Gucci, is a new global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls' and women's empowerment.Chime for change serves to convene, unite and strengthen the voices speaking out for girls and women around the world.

EQWIP HUBs

EQWIP HUBs is a new way of approaching long-term sustainable development. It’s a network of 17 youth innovation spaces called ‘EQWIP HUBs,’ where youth – especially women – come together to develop market-relevant skills, build networks, learn from mentors, and access technology. Located in Bolivia, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, Senegal and Tanzania, they are places where the passions and determination of young people are transformed into the confidence and abilities that will allow them to access employment or entrepreneurship and take control of their own futures.

Every Mother Counts

Every Mother Counts is an advocacy and mobilization campaign to increase education and support for maternal mortality reduction globally. Every Mother Counts seeks to engage new audiences to better understand the challenges and the solutions while encouraging them to take action to improve the lives of girls and women worldwide.
 

Exhale to Inhale

Founded by a yogi, supported by the yoga community, and guided by professionals with experience working with domestic violence and sexual assualt survivors, Exhale to Inhale strives to empower women who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault to heal and reclaim their lives through the healing and grounding practice of yoga. Exhale to Inhale provides free weekly yoga classes at domestic violence shelters and community centers throughout New York City, the Hudson Valley, Long Island and Connecticut.

Frontier Markets

Frontier Markets (FM) is a sales, marketing and after-sales service distribution company in Rajasthan. Founded in 2011, Frontier Markets works with local channel partners and field staff to educate, relate, and reach households providing them access to high quality and affordable clean energy solutions. FM creates solar retail points in the last mile and support them with service centers and after-sales. FM works with manufacturers to get the right products to our rural customers. FM creates women entrepreneurs which is the solar saheli campaign; as FMll as working with local rural villagers to build presence of solar in Rajasthan. To date, FM have sold over 103,000 solar solutions and have created 800 retail points and 500 solar sahelis. Frontier Markets’ mission is to provide over 5 million products to 20 million households in India by 2020.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run of Portland Metro is a life-changing, character development program for 3rd - 5th grade girls in the Portland Metro area. We use exercise, positive reinforcement, and encouraging role models to provide girls with the confidence they need in those critical pre-teen years. Each ninety-minute lesson combines running and walking games with discussions about various life skills, including healthy eating, leadership, setting goals and cooperation.  

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code is a new organization working to educate, inspire and equip 13- to 17-year-old girls with the skills and resources to pursue opportunities in technology and engineering.
Together with leading educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs, Girls Who Code has developed a new model for computer science education, pairing intensive instruction in robotics, web design, and mobile development with high-touch mentorship led by the industry's top female developers and entrepreneurs.

iSpiice

iSpiice is a humanitarian organization supported by volunteers across the world that builds partnerships between international volunteers and Indian communities. iSpiice offers the opportunity to make a real difference while traveling, to give back to the global community and  enjoy a meaningful travel experience. 

Krochet Kids intl.

Krochet Kids intl. has continued to grow and evolve in ways we never imagined since we earned our non-profit status in January 2008.  Today, over 150 people in Uganda and Peru are working, receiving education, and being mentored toward a brighter future.  The products created abroad have been well received here at home and the collaboration of our staff and beneficiaries around the globe has created a sustainable cycle of employment and empowerment. The beneficiaries of our program are all women. This is due to their unique role as mothers and heads of households. By giving this group of ladies a stable income they are able to provide for many others beyond themselves.
