Just one ounce (28 grams) – or about two tablespoons – of these tiny seeds contains omega-3 fatty acids, protein, 9.8 grams of fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), as well as vitamins B1 and B3.
