What if you could walk straight into a real-life story book and visit children literature's most beloved characters?

Two bibliophiles in Kansas City are making it possible with their refreshing and delightful project the Rabbit hOle. What they have dubbed 'the world's first explorastorium' is a concept space, a special team of designers, and inspiration from the world's best children's books to free their imaginations and craft a place for kids to do the same. This includes large-scale, rotating exhibits that immerse readers in playful and artistic 3D workshop models and galleries, engaging them in the telling of classic and contemporary children's literature.

The RabbithOle is an inquisitive place where visiting authors and illustrators demonstrate and talk about their work, and an interactive theater, printing press and bindery, library, writing lab and bookstore all unite for the ultimate homage to childhood curiosity and play. It also hosts a traveling pop up space in schools and elderly homes that has been super popular with the public, opening their eyes to the world of books and literacy in a whole new way.
