Thus began The Brown Sisters project, which has been shown in galleries and exhibitions around the world over the past 40 years. The series documents the slow, graceful aging of the four women, a tribute and testament to the inevitable life events that transformed them in the 365 days between each shot. This three-minute video showcases the 40 photos, telling a universal story in a simple, powerful way.
