A new website to capture, share and inspire acts of kindness. We want to celebrate the everyday and the extraordinary, and to inspire many more acts of kindness. So if you have a special story, have something you have been meaning to do for a while, or have a fabulous idea that would make someone’s day, you can submit your story to the calendar.

Doing Good Works provides career and entrepreneurship training to foster youth through the sale of promotional products, print material and packaging.  The idea is that businesses can buy those products through Doing Good Works and receive the corporate social responsibility value that comes with buying from a Benefit Corporation supplier.

Compass

Compass is a non-profit Junior Achievement company dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of as many of the incoming Syrian refugees as possible. Compass aims to enhance their experience as they transition into Canada by providing them with Welcome Packages sponsored by individual supporters and socially responsible corporations. Through its unique initiative, Compass seeks to create awareness and inspire social action amongst youth in the ongoing global refugee crisis.

The Good People Fund

The Good People Fund, founded in 2008 by Naomi Eisenberger, is responsible for finding and supporting grassroots organizations led by visionary people who respond to hunger, poverty, disability, trauma and other human suffering. There are currently 100 grantees throughout North America and Israel.

We're striving to make ordering a 'coffee stories' coffee' as ubiquitous and quotidian as ordering a coffee for yourself; to leave the coffee shop kinder, more hospitable than we found it, and to listen attentively to what others think, feel, and are moved by.  

PeacePlayers International

Based on the premise that “children who play together can learn to live together,” PeacePlayers International's mission is to unite, educate and inspire young people in divided communities through basketball. Since inception in 2001, PPI has impacted more than 69,000 youth and trained 1,764 coaches from 15 countries in a groundbreaking peacebuilding-and-leadership development curriculum. Through year-round sports activities, PPI is bringing together children from opposite sides of religious, ethnic and cultural divides to develop friendship and mutual respect.
