This 6-Year-Old Has Broken the Girl Scout Cookies Record | This kindergartener has sold over 100,000 boxes of cookies.

What’s your favorite Girl Scout cookie? Thin mints? Samoas? Or are there too many to decide from? Since cookie season runs from January through April, there’s still time to purchase a box or more.

For 100 years, Girl Scouts have been selling cookies to support their troops and to develop important life skills, according to the organization. Now it’s not just older scouts who get to sell cookies, even the littlest daisy scouts are participating. One six-year-old daisy scout has broken the cookie sales record by setting over 100,000 boxes of cookies.

Meet Pim
Pim Neil, from Pittsburgh, wanted to be a scout long before she was old enough to join and now she is selling more cookies than have been sold before in just one season, reported CBS News.

"Pim wanted to join the Girl Scouts because when she was three, she saw the girls’ selling cookies,” Luke Anorak-Neill, one of Pim’s dads, told CBS. “This whole thing started by her observing girls performing what most people think is the only thing Girl Scouts do, and that's sell Girl Scout cookies.”

So, when Pim started kindergarten her parents started looking for a troop to join but they ran into some obstacles because she has some disabilities. One troop rejected her because the leader said she would hold the other kids back, another said she was too young. But then they found a new kindergarten-only troop in the Pittsburgh area. This troop was a perfect fit.

Highly Motivated
When cookie selling season arrived, Pim hit the ground running and never looked back.

Pim and Anorak-Neill started the usual way, knocking on neighborhood doors, handing out flyers, even at the church they attend, reported MSN. She hit 5,000 boxes and when asked about her ultimate goal, Pim said 10,000 boxes.

The Girl Scouts win awards based on the amount of cookies they sell and Pim set her sights on a trip to Niagara Falls but the service unit manager cautioned that Pim may not be able to reach the amount.

That just spurred Pim and Anorak-Neill on. He made a video and posted it on TikTok. The video showed Pim saying, “Hi, my name is Pim. Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies?” The video went viral and her sales did too.

She absolutely crushed the single season record by selling 100,000 boxes of cookies. Now she wants to overtake the lifetime record of 180,000 boxes. With a month left she may just hit the mark. “Pim’s unstoppable,” Anorak-Neill said.
