Paraguay’s town ofCateura is built on top of a landfill, yet for the modest town, some of the trash is turned into treasure. The Recycled Orchestra uses musical instruments built out of waste. Yet it’s not only waste that is salvaged, it’s also the life of the participating youth that’s rescued and given new hope and a fabulous recreation. This clip, Landfill Harmonic, is a teaser for a feature-length documentary in the works.
